Workshop Climate Change Impacts and Integrated Assessment (CCIIA)

This meeting is organized by the Energy Modeling Forum (EMF) at Stanford University for a consortium of sponsors including the U.S. Department of Energy, the U.S. National Science Foundation, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the National Institute of Environmental Studies of Japan, the Australian Bureau of Agriculture and Resource Economics, Electric Power Research Institute, and Exxon Mobil Corporation.
This year's program began with a three day session on Climate Change Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability in an Urban Setting. This session was organized by Gary Yohe, Tom Wilbanks, Kristie Ebi, Anne Grambsch, and Bob Vallario. On Thursday, July 30 and Friday, July 31, Rich Richels organized a session entitled "Enhancing the Value of Integrated Assessment."
"The Economics of Technologies to Combat Global Warming" session on August 3 and 4 was organized by Bill Nordhaus and Nebojsa Nakicenovic. This was sponsored by the Kauffman Foundation. Finally, on Wednesday and Thursday, August 5 and 6, there was a session on "Modeling Renewable Energy" organized by Doug Arent of NREL and John Weyant.
