EMF PP 6.2: The Energy Modeling Forum: An Overview

The Energy Modeling Forum seeks, through a series of ad hoc working groups, to improve the use and usefulness of energy models in the study of important energy policy and planning issues by serving as a communication bridge between modelers and model users. This paper summarizes the EMF studies, its basic goals, organizational structure, conduct of studies, and issues fundamental to the future evolution of the Forum.
