EMF WP 9.8: Database for EMF Study on North American Natural Gas Markets

In keeping with our mission of improving the available information about energy models, the EMF staff is publishing the study’s database in this working paper. Table 1 lists the models included in the study, while Table 2 summarizes the key assumptions for the four scenarios – upper oil price, lower oil price, low U.S. resource base, and high U.S. demand. Table 3 defines the variables that were requested as output. The modelers ran these scenarios using standardized assumptions about oil prices, economic growth, and resource base developed by the working group. The data is also available on a floppy disk, formatted as a Lotus worksheet.
